Frequently Asked Questions

1. Do you accept credit cards?  Answer: Yes, Visa and Mastercard most often.

2. How soon can you go out and inspect the houses?  Answer: Commonly within 2 days of the order, depending on the time of year.  Next day if at all possible.  

3. How long will it take after the inspection for me to get the report?  Answer: My reports generally go out the same day.  Morning start times are necessary to get the report by that afternoon/evening.

4. Do your reports contain pictures?   Answer: Yes, many of them.

5. Do you have a Supra key?  Answer: Yes

6. Are you licensed and insured?  Answer:  I am licensed by TREC as Professional Inspector #21155 and am fully insured.

7. Where do get most of your business?  Answer: the majority of my business comes from client referrals.  There are also very select real estate agents who appreciate the high quality of my inspections for their clients.

8. What tools/equipment do you use for the inspection? 
-Answer: 
-Electronic report writing software for high quality, timely report turn-around
-Thermal Imaging
-Electronic floor elevation equipment
-Temperature gauges (electronic and analog)
-Screwdrivers/flashlights/tape measures/ladders
-Moisture detecting meters
-GFCI Electrical receptacle tester
-Digital cameras
-Customized Google Glass (heads up display)  Note: (proud of this item but no longer in use)
-Mini projector for the inspection presentation  (Only upon special request.  Request must be made during the initial order)
-Water pressure gauges to find the water PSI of the home.
-Pool water testing equipment
-Additional equipment is also used for special inspections such as invasive moisture testing or mold testing/indoor air quality testing.


9. How long will the inspection take? Answer: 3-4 hours on average.  Homes above 5000 square feet can take 6 or even 7 hours if there is a pool and sprinkler system.

10. Are you okay with me meeting you there during the inspection?  Answer: If you are able to attend, I recommend being there toward the end of the inspection so that I can fully focus on the home.  During the inspection I am talking to my computer system and have laser focus on the home. 

11. Do you email the report?  Answer: Yes, the report is delivered by email in PDF form.


12. Do you work on weekends?  Answer:  Yes, if that is what it takes!  I am here to help you.
